Yoga
The word Yoga originates from Sanskrit, pertaining to the word Yuj- meaning union. In this case Yoga is union with God- not in the western view of God as an omnipotent being, but god as the universe in its entirety. Union with all things through deep meditation was the original Yoga. Todays physical poses (Asanas) are a form of Yoga. They are a means of preparing the body to achieve this union.
Hatha- Meaning sun and moon- yoga to achieve balance between the divine masculine and feminine.
Yogic Dance- Tantric style dancing to represent the inner workings of the universe
Restorative Yoga- Bring healing energy to weary joints and muscles
